Here are a few great places to take a stroll if you happen to be in that neck of the woods…
Sissinghurst is a spectacular place to visit and a walk in the grounds of this stunning building is a must, as is a visit to the building itself. The castle is surrounded by a moat that dates back to medieval times and you can then enjoy a walk through the woodlands that are situated in the grounds of the estate.
A walk that starts in Margate is the spectacular route which will take you to Broadstairs. You will see on your way stretches of beautiful coastline as well as the home of world renowned artist JWM Turner. The paths through the countryside have been in use since medieval times when they were used by the priests.
One of the iconic places that you must see in this part of the world of course is the white cliffs of Dover. Head across the path along the top of the cliffs towards the lighthouse at South Foreland, where you will enjoy stunning sea views.
